Members from across the state gathered in Austin last week to flex their political muscle. 85 members of the association met with 76 legislative offices as well as the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives Joe Straus, Comptroller of Public Accounts Glenn Hegar and representatives of Governor Abbott and Lt. Governor Patrick’s offices. Our Legislative Day was also recognized on the floors of the Texas House of Representatives and Senate with resolutions recognizing the achievements of the Texas Food & Fuel Association and its members.
